It assumes only a knowledge of the essential basics of thermodynamics, chemistry, and heat transfer.
It is intended for third-year students in technical bachelor's programs, especially those in Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Energetics and Mechanical Construction. It aligns with the new programs established by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which came into effect during the academic year 2023-2024.
The main objective of this course is to raise awareness among students about the relationship between energy, the environment, and sustainable development. The education of Mechanical Engineering students must necessarily include the energetic aspect and its connection to sustainable development. Students should familiarize themselves with current principles and techniques of sustainable development to apply them. In doing so, they will acquire basic knowledge that can be implemented in the industry, making them future contributors to clean development.
